These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CanineSense mobile application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Your use of the app is also subject to our End-User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.

1. What CanineSense is

CanineSense uses artificial intelligence to interpret dog vocalizations and behavior. It provides behavioral interpretations for informational and educational purposes, including a likely signal, supporting reasoning, and a confidence level.

2. Not professional advice

CanineSense is not a substitute for professional veterinary care or a qualified animal-behavior professional, and it does not diagnose medical or behavioral conditions. Interpretations may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on the Service to assess whether an animal is dangerous. Never use the Service with wild, unknown, or aggressive animals, and always prioritize safety. If your dog shows signs of distress, illness, or aggression, consult a qualified professional.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Premium features require an auto-renewable subscription: $4.99/month or $34.99/year, each beginning with a 3-day free trial. The free trial applies once per Apple ID.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms.
• The Dog Whisperer Challenge is available free of charge.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, submitting unlawful content, or using it in violation of applicable law. You are responsible for the content you submit.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights except the limited license described in the EULA.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of interpretations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on an interpretation provided by the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
